Echuca Holden Museum auction catalogue now available
The auction catalogue for the Echuca National Holden Motor Museum auction conducted by Burns & Co. has been finalised. All items are now available for viewing ahead of this huge auction, which will be held over two days - Saturday, 18 and Sunday, 19 May.
The auction will be held on site at the National Holden Motor Museum - 7-11 Warren Street, Echuca - with inspection days to be held at the museum on Sunday, 12 May from 10.00AM to 4.00PM and from Monday, 13 May, to Friday, 17 May, from 10.00AM to 3.00PM each day. Inspections will also be available on site on both days of the auction, from 7.30AM (all times AEST).

Saturday 18 May, 2024. – Display items, motors, signage, memorabilia
Selling starts at 9.00AM (AEST) and will include shop stock, signage, genuine GM-H workshop fittings, engines, gearboxes, static displays, prototypes, posters, display cabinets, model cars, car manuals, museum displays, flags, number plates, dealership ephemera and more.
Many items are “one-offs” and will never again be available for sale in this quantity from the one source. Some items have been rescued from GM-H manufacturing plants and Holden dealerships across the country, while others come from the time before Holden was an automobile bodybuilder and manufacturer.

Sunday 19th May, 2024 – Motor vehicles and motorcycles
Selling starts at 9.00AM (AEST), with this day to include vehicles not on loan to the museum from private owners. Examples of the Holdens on offer include 48-215 (FX) and FJ, an EH Premier wagon, EK and EH utes, an HK Monaro GTS 327, HG Monaro GTS, HQ and HJ Sandmans, an HB Torana, HR Special sedan, HQ GTS Monaro 350 coupe, HG Brougham, an HSV VXII Clubsport, HSV Statesman SV90, a super rare HJ Statesman coupe and more.
A variety of classic and vintage motorcycles will also go across the blocks on this day, including a 1928 Indian Scout, 1953 Vincent Comet and 1993 Suzuki GSX-R1100.
