This is a very good running 1977 FE series big block from an F100, although it would be perfect in a Galaxie, Thunderbird, Fairlane or MustangIt is 360 ci. It has the same bore size has a 390 but shorter stroke.
(change the crank and rods and its a 390)
It is standard bore (4.050 in)
It has great oil pressure and there is only 10 psi difference in compression over the whole engine. Low of 115psi, a high of 125psi
This engine had not been apart ever until we got it.
It had one intake valve that wasn't sealing properly so both heads were removed and the valves lapped in and new valve steam seals fitted.
It has very little lip on the bores, we have tried to take a photo to show this.
The factory bearings were still ok but as we had gone to the trouble of taking the heads off we decided to fit new bearings.
This block has the four engine mount bolt holes in the block so it can be used in both an early and late engine mounts and will fit into any FE powered car.
It has a factory 4 barrel intake manifold
It comes with pullies, exhaust manifolds, distributor alternator and brackets, the alternator needs to be rebuilt.
It DOES NOT come with a carby, coil, starter, fly wheel or bell housing
Good running FE engines are not common here in Australia so don't miss out.
