Very good running virgin Chevy 454 4 bolt main engine from the USAIt is a Mk IV engine and the casting number runs from 1978 to 1990. The intake manifold has 1987 cast on it.
I pulled the sump off it and removed a couple of the caps and the bearings are still the standard factory fitted pieces that look good.
I can see the factory part numbers in the piston skirts so it is still standard bore.
This engine is not rebuilt and Im not trying to pass it off as rebuilt.
It has been cleaned and painted, new brass welsh plugs and chrome rocker covers, new distributor and leads have been fitted.
It doesn't blow smoke.
I have compression tested it and it has a low of 140 psi and a high of 155psi which is very good.
IT DOES NOT COME WITH the extractors, carby or starter motor, we need those for other engines.
